Customer Service Representative - National Remote

This full-time position requires flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shifts during our business hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Wednesday, and 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm PST Thursday to Friday. Occasional overtime may be necessary.

We provide weeks of on-the-job training, scheduled based on your availability or discussed on your first day.

You will have the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere in the U.S. as you take on challenging tasks.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide telephonic customer service
  2. Support members, customers, and providers by answering and resolving inquiries via direct phone interaction

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Ability to work full-time with flexible shifts as described above
Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 1 year of experience as a PBX operator
  • Bilingual fluency
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with EPIC
Telecommuting Requirements
  • Ability to keep sensitive documents secure
  • Dedicated, private work area
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection within your location
  • Adherence to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy

The hourly range is $16.00 to $28.85, based on full-time employment and various factors such as location, experience, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility.
