Job summary

The Florida Department of Revenue's Child Support Program seeks a Customer Service Representative I to assist with cases via phone, in person, chat or email. You will initiate requests, coordinate with internal and external partners, research issues, and gather data to guide next steps.

This role requires current employment with the Department, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. Working hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with potential outside schedule.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position performs customer support using a variety of methods including telephone, in person, chat or email for child support cases and is an excellent fit for critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with customers and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Experience processing information using a computer system.
  • Experience conducting research and analyzing information to make decisions. *

SUBSTITUTIONS:

PREFERENCES:
  • Experience with negotiation techniques in a business setting.

SALARY:

$38,760.36 - $49,501.08 / annually
