Job summary

Lanham Hardwood Flooring in Kentucky is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative to join an established flooring distribution company.

You will answer calls, respond to inquiries, enter orders, complete sales for will-call customers, and assist in warehouse tasks as needed.

The role offers competitive benefits, a Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule, no nights or weekends, a 401K with company matching, PTO and an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or a related field.
• Good technical and computer skills.
• Strong communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Willing to operate a forklift after training.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• High school graduate required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls.
• Respond to inquiries about pricing, stock, and order status.
• Enter customer orders into the system.
• Complete sales transactions for will-call customers.
• Assist in receiving and stocking products and fulfill will-call orders.
• Help in the warehouse, pulling products and loading orders.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish).

Job Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls

• Assist in receiving and stocking products, help to fulfill will call orders, ups shipments and assistance with inventory counts.
• Assist in warehouse when needed to pull products for orders and help customers by loading their order.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)

Requirements:

• Experience working in the field of customer service
• Good technical/computer skills
• Strong communication skills and good phone etiquette
• Comfortable working with and driving a forklift when needed (will train)
• Experience working in warehouse environment is preferred
• Must be a high school graduate
