Job summary

Ontic in Chatsworth, CA is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to oversee daily operations, coach team members, and drive exceptional customer experiences. The role emphasizes improving service quality, efficiency, and satisfaction across customers and internal partners.

You will be the primary contact for customers, handle inquiries, support audits, review orders, and ensure compliance with EAR/ITAR regulations while maintaining strong relationships and a proactive approach

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer service within the aerospace industry
• Minimum high school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior experience with Airline customers and OEMs is desired
• Ability to work independently and make good decisions with minimal direction
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Aerospace industry parts sales
• Self-motivating, positive attitude, customer oriented, ability to perform job without direct supervision

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Support customer or agency audits.
• Create and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Respond to inquiries regarding quotes, orders, status requests, complaints, returns, and warranties.
• Coordinate with internal production and purchasing staff to obtain information for customers.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service team to manage backlog.
• Review purchase orders and transfer details to internal sales orders promptly.
• Notify customers of discrepancies on purchase orders after comparison to quotes.
• Review exports for EAR and ITAR compliance.

Our team is looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative at Chatsworth, CA Office. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, coach and develop team members, ensure exceptional customerexperiences, and implement strategies to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

As a Customer Service Representative, You Will

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquires and resolving issues.
• Be required to support customer or agency audits.
• Create and maintain a professional, friendly, courteous and helpful relationship with internal and external customers.
• Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to all customer inquiries regarding quotes, orders, status request, complaints, product returns, and warranties.
• Utilize relationships with internal production and purchasing staff seek out answers for customers
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the Customer Service team to manage company backlog
• Read and review customer purchase orders and transfer details to internal sales orders in a timely manner.
• Notify the customer of any discrepancies on the purchase order after comparing to the quote.
• Review all exports for compliance in accordance with EAR and ITAR regulations.

Main Qualifications And Requirement

• 3+ years of experience in customer service within the aerospace industry
