The Customer Service Rep I will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers insurance questions and will deliver a quality customer service experience that builds rapport and long-term relationships to encourage renewal/repeat business. This position requires the associate to gain knowledge and stay current of all procedures, products and programs to ensure department standards and guidelines are met. Regular, on-time attendance is an essential function of this role.

We’re currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSRs) who would like to increase their insurance knowledge and build their skills while making a positive impact on Markel’s customers. We provide exceptional customer service through our simple processes, honest communications, and employee expertise.
Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $20.00hour - $23.00/hour based on the candidate's experience and education. Office Hours: M-F 7a – 7p CST.
*In addition to regular hourly pay, there is an annual Performance Bonus Potential.
Benefits Included: Immediate health & dental benefits, paid vacation and holidays, a 401k match, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement policy. Hours of operation Sales or Service position.
Markel office locations. Markel locations are Pewaukee, WI., Omaha, NE., Glen Allen VA., Henderson NV. If located near Markel office location, Hybrid work schedule is required.

The salary range for this position is $16.36- $34.05. The posted salary range reflects the lowest and highest base salary applicable to this role across our U.S. locations. Individual offers are determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and other job-related factors. As a result, the salary offered for a specific location will fall within a narrower range than the overall range displayed in this posting. This position may also be eligible to participate in the Company's annual incentive plan.
