Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking a customer service professional to enter customer orders and quotes into our ERP system, supporting the field sales team and ensuring accurate order statuses. You will help with new part setups, sourcing requests, and maintaining strong customer communications.

Collaborate with Purchasing and Corporate teams to identify issues, propose cost-saving ideas, and enhance service levels for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Customer service focus with attention to detail.
  • 3 years customer service experience in distribution preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

  • Enter customer orders and quotes into ERP system (Cloud Suite Distribution).
  • Provide support for field sales via quoting, order entry, and order statuses; assists with new part setups and sourcing requests.
  • Identify issues and provide cost-saving or process-improvement ideas.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and use Zendesk; coordinate with other departments to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities
  • Enter customer orders and quotes into ERP system (Cloud Suite Distribution)
  • Provide support for field sales team via quoting, order entry, and order statuses Assists field sales with new part setups, sourcing requests, and non-stocks with Corporate Purchasing Proactively identify issues and provide solutions.
  • Provides suggestions for cost savings, process improvement and enhanced customer service
  • Demonstrates product knowledge proficiency by utilizing all resources available to stay current Utilizing ticketing system for communications with internal and external customers (Zendesk) Work closely with other departments to provide exemplary customer service
Qualifications
  • Effective individual contributor with the ability to successfully work within a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills Communicate and behave in a professional manner at all times
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated sense of urgency with the ability to meet appropriate deadlines Detail oriented and results focused Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Effective time management skills Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical information Required
  • 3 years customer service experience in distribution preferred High school diploma or equivalency required
