• At least 1 year of sales experience (required): retail, phone, door-to-door, or account sales all count
• Customer service experience (call center, front desk, or similar) preferred
• Motivated by helping customers and by earning commission
• Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
• Comfortable with smartphones, computers, Google Suite, and learning a CRM
• Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple conversations in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 or older with reliable transportation

This is a customer support and customer-facing sales role. Hydra Pest Control is looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative who loves helping people and is confident selling. You'll answer questions, educate homeowners, and help them see the real value of protecting their home and family, earning commission on every new account you bring in. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Turn inbound calls, texts, emails, and web chats into new customers by understanding their needs and recommending the right service

Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, win back past customers, and grow existing accounts

Educate customers on Hydra services, warranties, and the value of year-round protection

Promote additional services and programs, and earn commission on new accounts sold

Customer Support

Deliver fast, friendly support across phone, text, email, social media messaging, and web chat

Resolve questions and concerns with patience, including calming frustrated customers

Reduce cancellations and keep customers happy and loyal

Account & Scheduling

Use our CRM to manage accounts, service schedules, billing, notes, and service history

Process customer payments and support our Service Pros with routing updates and alerts

Take part in sales and product training to sharpen your skills

REQUIREMENTS

COMPENSATION

Training Period: $16.50-$17.50/hr (based on experience)

Post-Training Base Pay: $17.50-$20.00/hr (based on experience and performance)

Commission Pay: Earn additional commission on new accounts sold, averaging $18-$23+/hr

30-40 hours per week

This position combines steady hourly pay with strong commission potential, so motivated people can significantly increase their earnings.
