Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers, entering orders, handling requests, and providing timely, courteous support.

You will respond to calls and correspondence, help with product selection, and coordinate service requests, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and a pay rate of $22.39 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Two- or four-year degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service or retail is a plus.
• Strong communication and tact in handling customer inquiries.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key contact and liaison for customers to ensure their total satisfaction. You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, entering orders, handling requests and providing support needed in a timely, professional and courteous manner.

In this role you will:

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls
• Provide support on product selection and application
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims

Skills & Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred
• High School education
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred

Compensation Details: The expected rate of pay for this position is $22.39 per hour

Shift Hours and Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
