Job summary

Graybar in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be a key contact for customers, handling orders, inquiries and support with professionalism. You will answer calls and emails, assist with product selection, process orders, pricing, and service requests while delivering top-notch service.

The role supports Graybar's customer-first culture and learning opportunities within the team. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Able to handle diverse customer situations with tact and enthusiasm.
• Retail or counter sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and written correspondence with timely follow-up.
• Actively assist in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and claims.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key contact and liaison for customers to ensure their total satisfaction. You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, entering orders, handling requests and providing support needed in a timely, professional and courteous manner.

In this role you will:

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls
• Provide support on product selection and application
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims

Skills & Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred
• High School education
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $21.00 per hour depending on experience.
