Specialty Building Products is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Greenville, SC location. The role focuses on assisting the ISR team with sales orders, quotes, pricing, and customer follow-ups to ensure excellent service.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of sales experience in the building industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. A high school diploma is required, with a 2-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) team with entering sales orders.
• Receive incoming and outgoing calls related to sales inquiries for pricing and availability.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales, network with customer inquiries regarding product selection, quotes, orders, scheduling deliveries, and follow-ups.
• Inform customers of unit pricing, shipping date, delays, and additional information requested.

U.S. Lumber, an SBP company is currently hiring for Customer Service Representatives to join our VALUES based organization in our Greenville, SC branch. We seek to serve people first, and we operate according to a moral compass aimed at doing what is right even when it is hard. In this role you will be focused on:

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• This person will assist the ISR team with entering of sales orders. They also will be responsible for multifamily quotes and EWP Cut Packs
• Receive incoming and outgoing calls related to sales inquiries for new and established customers to provide pricing and availability, as well as information about our products and distribution services.
• Execute strategic plans in coordination with Outside sales, network with customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices and quotations, complaints and scheduling of deliveries, and providing customer follow-ups to ensure customer needs are met.
• Inform customer of unit pricing, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information requested by the customer.

Required credentials:

• High school diploma with a 2-year degree preferred.
