Job summary

Imperative Logistics Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Laredo, TX to handle import traffic tasks and coordinate with shippers, exporters, importers, and carriers. The role requires strong communication skills in English and Spanish, basic inventory control, and precise data handling.

Responsibilities include processing orders, managing arrival notices and bills of lading, keeping clients updated, and performing routine inventory audits while working closely with warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents.
• English and Spanish communication clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Process work orders, arrival notices, and bills of lading as needed.
• Coordinate receiving/shipping of work orders to keep on schedule.
• Keep clients informed on shipment status and issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Update client information and schedule appointments as required.
• Communicate with customers via email and phone to provide updates.

Communicate with shippers, exporters, importers, and/or carriers to coordinate and expedite shipments.*This job description reflects the current assignment of essential functions and is not meant to be all-inclusive. For example, if a work order is not returned within a reasonable timeframe, follow-up should be conducted.* Handle distribution and keep the client informed of the status.* Responsible for accurate inventory keeping.* Work with warehouse staff to perform regular inventory audits through cycle counts and physical inventories.* Update Clients' information/profile sheets as needed* Schedule an appointment* Maintain open communication with customers via email and telephone**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:*** High school diploma or G.E.D.
