Job summary

Nucor is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Customer Service) to manage a broad customer base, handle quotes and orders, and build trusted relationships. You will coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues and drive territory growth while forecasting activity and inventory needs.

Safety is emphasized in every task. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of B2B sales/service experience, plus experience with ERP systems such as D365.

Basic Job Functions

The Customer Service Representative (aka Inside Sales Representative) manages and services a broad customer base while developing relationships built on trust and respect. You will be a key customer contact inside the division handling all facets of the quote and order management process accurately; and demonstrate proactive communication and follow-up with our customers to achieve WIN-WIN results in a timely manner. You will be required to coordinate with other Nucor Fastener departments as a constructive team member to solve business problems. This position will also help grow territory sales and profitability, as well as monitor and forecast customer activity and manage finished goods inventory.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree OR minimum of three (3) years B2B Sales/Service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous sales/service experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in D365 or other cloud-based ERP system
