Job summary

RESRG Automotive seeks a Customer Service Coordinator to manage OEM demand, order fulfillment, and deliveries. You will serve as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring requirements are met on time while supporting operations and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, or Production Control in automotive manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting OEM customers such as Zoox, Rivian, Nissan, Stellantis, Honda preferred.
  • Experience in Just-in-Time manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of demand management, production scheduling, inventory control, shipping, and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned OEM customer accounts.
  • Review forecasts, 12-week and 14-day forecasts, EDI (830 & 862) and POs for accurate processing in SES.
  • Manage customer schedules and coordinate production priorities with internal teams.
  • Communicate shipment status and inventory availability to customers.
  • Maintain strong customer service by responding to inquiries in portals and resolving delivery issues.
  • Coordinate daily with Operations Planning, Materials, Warehouse, Shipping, and Quality to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory, identify shortages, and report constraints in RTB meetings.
  • Develop recovery plans for past-due orders and coordinate premium freight when needed.
  • Monitor customer portals and ERP data for Zoox, Rivian, Nissan, Stellantis, and Honda.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for managing customer demand, order fulfillment, and delivery performance for RESRG Automotive's OEM customers. Serving as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments, this role ensures customer requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time while supporting operational expectations and customer satisfaction.

This position collaborates closely with Operations, Materials Planning, Warehouse, Logistics (Argus), Packaging, Quality, and Manufacturing to manage customer schedules, monitor inventory, coordinate shipments, resolve delivery issues, and proactively mitigate supply chain risks. The representative will support key automotive customers including Zoox, Rivian, Nissan, Stellantis, and Honda, while maintaining compliance with customer‑specific requirements and RESRG Automotive standards.

Customer & Order Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned OEM customer accounts.
  • Review of customer releases, 12-week & 14-day forecasts, EDI transactions (830 & 862) and purchase orders issued in CMS to ensure accurate order processing in Shipping Execution System (SES).
  • Manage customer schedules and demand changes while coordinating production priorities with internal operations team members.
  • Communicate shipment status, inventory availability, production constraints, and recovery plans to customers.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries in customer portals and resolving delivery concerns.
Production & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Coordinate daily with Operations Planning, Materials, Warehouse, Shipping, and Quality to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory and identify potential shortages or capacity constraints that could impact customer deliveries. Report out these constraints in daily “Run the Business” (RTB) meetings
  • Develop recovery plans for inter-company past dues, and customer past due orders.
  • Coordinate premium freight activities when necessary to protect customer production schedules.
Customer Portal & ERP Management
  • Monitor and maintain customer portals for Zoox, Rivian, Nissan, Stellantis, and Honda.
  • Process customer releases, shipping schedules in SES, cumulative demand, and Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).
  • Maintain accurate customer data within ERP systems. Adjust as requested by customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer-specific shipping, labeling, and documentation requirements.
Logistics & Delivery Performance
  • Coordinate daily shipments to ensure on‑time delivery performance (98%).
  • Verify Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Customer Labels, ASNs, and shipping documentation. Working alongside Packaging Coordinators to assist with dunnage returns.
  • Work with carriers and third-party logistics providers to resolve transportation issues (Argus transportation) directed or in‑directed carries.
  • Track customer scorecards and delivery metrics while implementing corrective actions when required.
Qualifications
Education
  • Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Materials Planning, Logistics, or Production Control within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting OEM customers such as Zoox, Rivian, Nissan, Stellantis, Honda, or other automotive manufacturers is preferred.
  • Experience working in a Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer demand management, production scheduling, inventory control, shipping, and logistics.
Technical Skills
  • ERP systems including Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent manufacturing ERP software.
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processing.
  • Customer supplier portals and web-based scheduling systems.
  • Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) processing.
  • Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and data analysis).
  • Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and Power BI (preferred).
  • Inventory management, demand planning, and logistics coordination.
