Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Associate to support paint-related inquiries at our Minot location. You will assist walk-in customers, answer calls and emails, and help with price quotes while ensuring accurate documentation and smooth service flow.

The ideal candidate has background in automotive paint and PPE, with strong communication skills and willingness to work in a busy retail/distribution environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of Automotive Paint, PPE and equipment.
• Experience with paint formulas and color matching is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with paint orders and lookup formulas.
• Mix paint based on formulas and assist over-the-counter customers.
• Handle phone and email inquiries about quotes.
• Maintain inventory and assist with data entry and invoicing.
• Generate sales from online leads and support eBay/eCommerce activities.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Job description

In this position, you will communicate directly with distribution centers and customers to ensure accuracy in documentation, information, and services. Also, handle customers via phone calls or walk-in over-the-counter sales, and assist with paint customers at there location or in store. Must have experience with Automotive Paint, PPE, and paint equipment.

Essential Job Duties

• Assist with customer paint orders, look up formulas, and mix the paint based on the formula.
• Assist our paint customers at their location in over the counter with questions and equipment needs
• Handle phone and emails from customers pertaining to price quotes
• Call center functions to provide quality customer service
• Ensure the company establishes and maintains constant communication with customers.
• Knowledgeable on all aspects of product inventory, which may include, data entry, cancellations, credits, invoicing, and/or customer service inquiries.
• Generate sales/buys from online leads
• May require an understanding of eBay and eCommerce sites
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge with Automotive Paint, PBE and Equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Call Center Customer service experience
• Bi-Lingual, English & Spanish.
• 2+ years of college.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse frequently.
