Responsibilities

• Demonstrating a friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
• Taking orders over the phone and in person
• Dealing with customer concerns

General Job Duties

• Operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
• Prepare product
• Receive and process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily

Communication Skills

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions

Essential Functions / Skills

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use calculator)

Work Conditions

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F to 90 °F and above
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500 °F or higher
• Tasks may involve sharp edges and moving mechanical parts

Physical Requirements

• Standing for most tasks; walking for short distances/durations
• Lifting up to 50 pounds with a hand truck; carrying up to 30 pounds for sauces
• Push or pull trays on dollies up to 30 pounds
• Climb stairs or ladders infrequently; stoop or bend for 30‑45 s repeatedly
• Reach up, down, and forward continuously
• Use hands continuously, requiring eye‑hand coordination
