Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate in the Washington, DC area. You will greet customers, prepare food items including breakfast, sandwiches, beverages, and pizzas, and keep the coffee station tidy.

You will also operate the cash register, process payments, and assist with fuel, gift cards, and age-restricted product checks. Responsibilities include maintaining clean, well-stocked shelves and upholding safety and store policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure needs are met quickly and courteously.
• Prepare food items such as breakfast items, build-to-order sandwiches, beverages, and pizzas; keep coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure stores are well-stocked, shelves are fresh, full, and inviting.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety by following policies and guidelines.
• Complete housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
