What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary liaison for members and providers regarding inquiries about eligibility, authorizations, claims, and policy procedures
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring first call resolution
- Research information and escalate priority issues as necessary to improve efficiency
- Maintain detailed call logs to document customer interactions and actions taken
- Foster strong relationships with customers, meeting or exceeding their expectations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service environment
- Ability to resolve customer problems and maintain composure with difficult callers
- Strong adaptability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace and the ability to connect via ethernet cable to home router

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual (Spanish) or other language skills
- 2+ years of experience in an HMO/Health Care Industry setting
- Knowledge of call center telephony and technology
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding
