Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This position is a highly client focused role responsible for building and maintaining client relationships. The Personal Lines Account Manager reviews and quotes polices for new and current clients in order to drive company success. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and have the ability to organize and multi-task a busy workload.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, remote role reporting to our office located in South Windsor, CT. Please note, new hire onboarding/training for this role will take place mostly in-office (1-2 months) and flexibility for a remote work schedule will be available once complete. Computer equipment will be provided by the company upon hire.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively review and assess client accounts to identify opportunities for policy renewals, upgrades, or cross-sells.
  • Contact clients prior to renewal dates to discuss coverage options, policy changes, and competitive pricing.
  • Obtain and bind quotes for new and existing clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
  • Partner with insurance carriers and underwriters to secure quote approvals and optimal solutions.
  • Prepare and submit insurance applications with all required documentation to seamlessly bind coverage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and managing policy adjustments.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • 2–4 years in property & casualty insurance.
  • Active Connecticut Property & Casualty license.
  • Proficiency with AMS360 and Personal Lines Rater (Vertafore) required.
  • Familiarity with multiple carriers is a plus.
  • Experience quoting in carrier portals and preparing carrier/ACORD applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
