Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Medford, NY team. You will assist customers with U-Haul products and services, use U-Scan tech to manage rentals, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers.

You will inspect equipment and educate customers on offerings, including preparing invoices and handling returns. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
