Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Buffalo, NY. You will be the face of our service, assisting customers with rentals, inspections and equipment, while utilizing U-Scan technology to manage inventories and invoices.

The role involves moving and hooking up trucks, inspecting equipment, and learning certifications for hitches, propane, and forklift operation, with on-the-job education provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
