Job summary

Base Camp in Ketchum, Idaho is seeking a Customer Service Associate. You will be the face of the store, delivering fast, friendly service and handling transactions with Passport at the time of sale.

Responsibilities include stocking, cleaning, taking vendor deliveries, and maintaining store safety. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, acting with a can-do attitude, and flexibility with shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age to sell alcohol.
• Experience as cashier in a convenience or grocery setting is preferred.
• Service orientation—actively helping customers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and remain calm under pressure.
• Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds; frequently up to 25 pounds.
• Able to stand for the entire shift and be in good physical shape.
• Able to operate Passport cash register and count change.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, efficient, friendly customer service and resolve concerns.
• Report to work on time.
• Enter all sales into Passport at sale time.
• Brew coffee and stock beverages and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of interior and restrooms.
• Check-in vendor deliveries and ensure invoiced products are received.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork.
• Restock and face shelves and coolers; check for expired items.
• Maintain exterior cleanliness: fuel pumps and parking lot.
• Prepare and stock fast food items; know hot and cold requirements.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas.
• Be flexible with shifts and emergencies.
