Batteries Plus Bulbs in Asheville, NC is hiring a Customer Service Associate who is also excited to grow as a Phone Repair Technician. You will blend friendly retail support with hands-on troubleshooting to ensure customers leave informed and satisfied.

Responsibilities include battery testing, installation, device repairs, and clear product recommendations. The role requires lifting batteries, working a full-time/part-time schedule, and contributing to a busy store team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, active listening, and customer-first mindset.
• Technical aptitude and practical Troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced Retail Sales setting.
• Able to lift automotive batteries and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store and phone-based Customer Service and Technical Support
• Perform Battery Testing and Battery Installation (including Automotive Batteries) and support safe recycling
• Complete Device Repair and basic Electronics Repair with careful documentation
• Use Point-of-Sale to process purchases, returns, and special orders accurately
• Offer clear Product Recommendations and helpful add-ons while working as a team
