Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Parts Coordinator at our Phoenix, AZ location. This role oversees parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory, and reconciliation, while processing Purchase Orders and vendor payments.

The position aims to maximize customer uptime and maintain optimal parts levels. The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma, 1+ year in inventory/parts administration, and familiarity with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more in inventory and parts administration/clerical functions.
• Experience with MS Word and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary designee for inventory, parts ordering, and receiving.
• Process Purchase Orders and Supplier Invoices.
• Ensure parts are received and recorded into inventory.
• Oversee parts obsolescence.
• Ship warranty returns to vendors and manage returns.
• Maintain parts room organization and cleanliness.
• Contribute to cost containment through oversight of parts processes.

The Customer Service Parts Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory, and reconciliation of all parts at a single location. In addition, this position will be responsible for processing Purchase Orders (POs) and Vendor payment requests. This position will be responsible for ensuring the right part is purchased from the right vendor and maintaining inventory levels to maximize customer uptime.
