Ryder System, Inc. Parsippany, NJ seeks a Parts Coordinator I to oversee parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, and inventory at a single location.

The role handles PO processing, supplier invoices, and ensures accurate recording of parts in inventory to support customer uptime. The position requires automotive or HD truck parts/inventory experience, offers Monday–Friday 1st shift, hourly pay, and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more in inventory/parts administration or clerical functions preferred.
• Experience using MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level preferred.

Summary

The Parts Coordinator I is responsible for the oversight of parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory and reconciliation of all parts at a single location. In addition this position will be responsible for processing Purchase Orders (PO's) and Vendor payment requests. This position will be responsible to ensure the right part is purchased from the right vendor and maintain inventory level to maximize customer uptime.

This job requires either automotive or HD truck parts and inventory experience!

Shop Location- Parsippany, NJ

Shift/Schedule- Monday - Friday 1st shift

Hourly | Weekly Pay

Essential Functions

• Primary designee for conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, and receiving
• Processing of Purchase Orders and Supplier invoices

• Responsible for shipping warranty and parts return to vendors
• Responsible for parts room organization and cleanliness

Additional Responsibilities

• Contribute to cost containment through oversight and adherence to offective parts processes and policies as well as other functions as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
