Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to assist customers with order entries and inquiries, ensuring they are satisfied with the distributor. You will resolve questions accurately and promptly, and collaborate with vendors and co-workers to maintain service quality.

The schedule includes weekend and weekday shifts with afternoon/evening hours. Compensation ranges from $19 to $23 per hour, with Day 1 health benefits and growth opportunities in a supportive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 6–12 months in customer service or related area preferred.
• Experience in handling orders and inquiries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems. Contact vendors and request samples for customers.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes and mail daily, writing sample requests and special orders when necessary.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
