Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Rutherford, NJ. The role focuses on supporting customers via email and phone, processing Sales Orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

The candidate should have 4+ years of customer service experience and strong organizational skills. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers by email and phone to resolve customer inquiries and Sales Orders. Sets clear expectations by providing accurate information and transparent communication.
• Works with team members to ensure all pieces of order are present. Edits orders received for price and nomenclature.
• Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and additional information needed. Records or files copy of orders received according to expected delivery date. Enters orders into business system.
• Collaborates with Supply Chain and Purchasing to update existing orders to reflect projected ship dates
• Assist quality and sales in transacting RMA returns for repair and credit
• Multitasks between multiple tools and systems (knowledge base, team meetings, supervisor) and applies information and knowledge to customer situations.
