Expeditors in Carson, CA is seeking a Customer Service/ Operations Agent for the night shift (Tuesday–Saturday). The role involves coordinating loading, movement of freight, and daily warehouse-based tasks, with heavy emphasis on computer work and communication with carriers.

You will prepare load manifests, bills of lading, manage system updates, identify delays, and perform root cause analysis while collaborating with internal teams and service providers. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Position Overview

• This position will support the movement of freightby managing daily truck operations from Carson, CA to Expeditors' North American network of offices/warehouses.
• This positionis locatedwithin a warehouse facility and will primarily be computer work with some interaction with freight as needed.
• The position will require phone and email communication withExpeditors employees, trucking companies, and other strategic service providers.

Position Schedule:

Typical Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equivalent required
• Successful candidates must pass a background check
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must not require future sponsorship for employment visa
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Must have the ability to work overtime in support of the department’s needs
• Must be able to commute to the city of Carson, CA
• Comfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skills
• Comfortable working in a, warehouse environment
