Job summary

pOpshelf is seeking a Team Member to be a friendly point of contact for customers. You will stock and merchandise displays, operate the cash register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment to delight shoppers.

You will follow merchandising guidelines, assist customers at self-checkout, and perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks. Frequent walking and standing are expected in a fast-paced retail setting, with a focus on exceptional service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to exceed the customer's expectations.
• Possess product knowledge and use selling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment that delights our customers.
• Assist in merchandising the store in a manner that is appealing to customers.
• Rotate product to create eye-catching displays to drive sales.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities to provide a superior customer shopping experience.
• Operate cash register(s) and scanner to total purchases and assist customers with merchandise.
• Assist customers in self-checkout process at multiple register terminals simultaneously.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in SOP and Employee Handbook.
• Stock and display merchandise and set up sidewalk displays.
