Job summary

pOpshelf is seeking a Team Member to be the primary point of contact for customers in a fast-paced retail setting. You will stock, merchandize displays, and maintain a clean store while operating the cash registers and assisting with daily tasks to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent service, applying product knowledge, rotating stock, assisting in self-checkout, and following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills for register transactions.
• Ability to operate cash registers and scanners.
• Ability to stock, display and rotate merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations.
• Apply product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.
• Assist in merchandising to create appealing displays and drive sales.
• Rotate and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and assist at self-checkout.
• Follow SOPs and company policies as documented in manuals.
• Contribute to daily cleaning, recovery, and store upkeep.
