Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Customer Service Associate in Canton, MA to be the main contact for customers, processing orders, resolving inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 8am-4:30pm, Monday–Friday; $20-$22 hourly.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, order entry, or data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer focus.
• Excellent organization and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and comfortable learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently with timely entry and follow-up.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other channels about status, pricing, availability, and expedites.
• Process RMAs, credit requests, and maintain customer account information.
• Follow up on customer quotes and enter new customer information into the system.
• Collaborate with Sales, Applications Engineering, Purchasing, and Distribution to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Maintain high customer service by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Support additional admin projects and departmental initiatives as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join a collaborative manufacturing organization in Canton, MA. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers by processing orders, resolving inquiries, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring timely order entry and follow-up.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels regarding order status, pricing, product availability, and order expedites.
• Process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), credit requests, and maintain accurate customer account information.
• Follow up on customer quotes and enter new customer information into the company system.
• Collaborate with Sales, Applications Engineering, Purchasing, and Distribution teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Support additional administrative projects and departmental initiatives as needed.

Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday

Compensation: $20-$22 Hourly
