Job summary

Real Floors, the largest wholesale flooring company in North America, is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead a team of Customer Service Representatives and ensure day-to-day operational excellence in our Theodore, AL office.

You will coach staff, resolve customer issues in real time, and collaborate with other departments to maintain our family-like culture and commitment to outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of proven management experience.
• Coaching management style to lead and develop team members.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Ability to address performance issues with difficult conversations.
• Proficient with email, data entry and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day activities of Customer Service Department.
• Coaches and develops direct reports with feedback.
• Processes orders via phone, email, and portal; manages calls and system entries.
• Provides real-time solutions to customer or internal issues; guides reports.
• Promotes cross-departmental communication and problem resolution.
• Reviews subcontractor work orders for accurate billing.
• Participates in hiring/terminations with GM and HR; handles conflicts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
