Job summary

Public Storage in California is hiring a Property Manager to serve customers on-site, assess storage needs, and drive sales of packing supplies across multiple locations. You will work independently at sites and help maximize occupancy.

Ideal candidates have background in customer service-based sales, a valid driver’s license with a personal vehicle for travel between properties, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds while performing daily maintenance and cash-handling tasks.

• Experience in customer service sales environments.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle for travel between properties.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform outdoor and indoor duties.
• Flexible, full-time schedules with availability on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and recommend solutions.
• Sell packing and moving supplies to customers.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections and ensure spaces are rentable.
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits.
• Assist customers with payments and reminders as needed.
