Job summary

Clarke Power Services in Dayton, OH is seeking a Customer Service Manager to direct and lead the Dayton branch with a focus on safety and customer service. You will manage service and parts activities, guide a team of technicians, and ensure branch performance aligns with company standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing P&L and branch financials.
• Proven ability to hire, train, and develop a team.

• Inventory control and parts management.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

• Utilize Management Tools (Seven Step, Nine Step, Language Processing, etc.).
• Responsible for sound business practices.
• Compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations.
• Facility Management, building and grounds.
• Propose capital expenditures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. Manager must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions?

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manager supervises employees of the branch and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this operation
• Manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a similar leadership role
• Mechanical background through education or experience
• Preferred - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid State Driver's License
