Job summary

Circle K in Niles, Ohio is seeking a full-time Store Associate for 1330 Youngstown Warren Rd. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, process transactions, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role includes managing stock, placing signage, and ensuring accurate cash handling and safety compliance. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, retail experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow dress code and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to perform arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
• Greets customers as they enter and thanks them as they leave.
• Gives assistance and offers recommendations to customers.
• Rings up all sales on cash register accurately, handling money and other payment types.
• Performs multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery, money order, telecom transactions, etc.
• Reports to work on time and follows dress and appearance code.
• Maintains store facility’s condition and equipment to brand standards through cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Completes builds-to for ordering/purchasing merchandise and verifies vendor deliveries.
• Monitors shift sales, cash handling, inventory, and daily close-out functions.
• Supervises staff in absence of Store Assistant Manager and coaches new employees.

Education
