Job summary

Prosegur is seeking a Customer Service Lead for the AM/Swing shift at LAX in Los Angeles. The role focuses on hospitality, front-line leadership, and safeguarding passengers while coordinating with TSA and airline operations.

You’ll guide daily operations, coach staff, and stay informed of terminal updates. The position requires excellent English, a valid guard card, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to service excellence.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must obtain or be willing to obtain a security guard card
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in basic English
• Must be able customer focused, detail oriented, and interested in the airline industry
• Capable of following given instructions and accepting professional feedback
• Active listening, empathy, clear communication, teamwork, time management, and patience
• Working smoothly in fast-paced shifts and helping out across different departments
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Knowledge of security operations and procedure
• Extremely outgoing individuals with great customer service and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality, professionalism, courtesy, and customer satisfaction throughout daily operations.
• Lead by example by demonstrating Prosegur’s values, professionalism, and commitment to service excellence.
• Provide frontline employees with guidance, coaching, and positive reinforcement to enhance passenger interactions.
• Remain informed of current LAX terminal updates, operational changes, and passenger service initiatives.
• Lead must remain alert and observant of all the activity around them, maintaining a safe and secure area.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as abiding the standardized operating procedures.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and safe practices.
• Reinforcing the importance of every employee’s role, contribution, and responsibility toward achieving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• May be exposed to different weather conditions.
• May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on Operational needs and certifications.
• Follow all Prosegur, TSA, and LAX/LAWA rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
