Customer Service Inventory Specialist (Murrysville, PA)

Job Description

As an Inventory Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments to grow and exceed business goals built on one point of dedicated contact. This position is part of the Customer Service team within the Sleep and Respiratory Care (S&RC) division of Philips.

Your role:

  • Provide general inquiry support for order tracking, parts availability, and material master fields.
  • Manage order prioritizations for sales team, escalate shipping issues to distribution, modify order line blocks based on allocations from global product managers, and balance orders between distribution centers.
  • Proactively identify issues and address with short term and long term solutions, and search for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Display a commitment to quality by following required procedures and practices and search for opportunities for continuous improvement.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service environment or related experience. This position calls for a team player with the demonstrated ability to work with others as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Your skills must include fluent and professional written and oral communication. Telephone skills and customer problem resolution experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Direct customer service experience within Business-to-Business capacity preferred but not required. Ability to solve non-routine product, pricing, and shipping issues as they relate to current products and customers highly desired. SAP experience preferred.
  • You have an associate’s degree in a business discipline or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re proficient with basic computer skills along with Microsoft Office software programs.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in (Murrysville, PA) is $40,000 to $64,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and much more.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
