Job summary

Vomund Ins and Fin Svcs Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a State Farm Agency team in Ashland, VA. You will serve current customers with a needs-based approach, process transactions, and build relationships to understand their insurance and financial service needs.

Licensed in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance in Virginia or willing to obtain licenses, you will coordinate with agents to educate clients and promote appropriate products while staying compliant.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance or able to obtain licenses.
• Ability to solve problems using provided resources.
• Comfortable speaking with customers, whether over the phone or in person.
• Persuasive reasoning and listening skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes payments.
• Processes policy transactions and applications as necessary.
• Answers customer questions regarding policies and accounts.
• Documents customer interactions and transactions according to company guidelines.
• Identifies and suggests additional products and services as may be appropriate.
• Calls existing customers to offer additional products and services.
• Develops leads through personal networking and community events.
