Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative to support our sales team and customers in Pasco, WA. This on-site role operates 7:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, collaborating with Account Managers to resolve inquiries, build relationships, and drive service quality.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months of customer service experience, basic Excel skills, and a willingness to learn about hydraulic and power transmission products.

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service or inside sales experience; industrial distribution knowledge a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; valid driver's license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, quotes, and order processing.
• Expedite returns and sourcing parts as needed.
• Assist in generating additional sales opportunities.

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $20.00 - 24.00/hr depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunity is tied to location and individual performance and has averaged $300 - $500 per month. No specific amount is guaranteed.

What You'll Do

In our fast-paced team environment, you will partner with our customers and Account Manager to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.

• Customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting / returns
• Sourcing parts
• Assist in generating sales
• Help in the stockroom as needed, deliver orders to customers as needed

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service or inside sales. Industrial distribution or parts counter environment a plus
• Hydraulic, bearings, or power transmission knowledge preferred
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills including Excel
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)
• This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
