Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA, Anatomic Pathology in El Paso, TX seeks a full-time hybrid Customer Service/Logistics support role in Laboratory Operations. You will interact with patients, clients, and the lab team by phone, handle records, billing queries, and support logistics while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in healthcare/customer service, strong communication, fast typing, and a valid driver’s license. Driving history must be clean and up to date.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in customer service and/or healthcare.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Typing 35 wpm with 10-key capability.
• Valid Driver’s License in the state of employment.
• Excellent driving record for the previous 3 year period.
• Minimum four years driving experience with conventional vehicles.
• Not more than two moving violations in past 36 months.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate’s Degree is a bonus.
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients, clients, and the laboratory team with exceptional service right over the phone.
• Handle administrative duties that may include maintaining records.
• Process billing claims, analyze accounts, and help callers understand their charges.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
• Courier duties to assist with logistics.
• Transfer reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and the client’s office or between lab and hospital.

In this role, you will:

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in customer service and/or healthcare
• Exceptional communication skills
• Top notch typing proficiency (at least 35wpm), including 10-key
• Valid Driver’s License in the state of employment.
• Excellent driving record for the previous 3 year period.
• Minimum – four years driving experience with conventional vehicles (car, truck, and/or van).
• Must not have had more than two moving violations within the past 36 months.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
