Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA, Anatomic Pathology in Dallas, Texas is seeking a full-time Courier/Logistics professional to ensure timely transport of patient reports, specimens and supplies between laboratories and healthcare locations. The role requires safe driving and dependable performance on the 2nd shift.

You will interact with clients, uphold safety and quality standards, and support a patient-centered workflow.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past three years.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigate routine hazards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
  • Ensure proper specimen handling and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
  • Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service.

Location: Dallas, Texas Days/Hours: Monday - Thursday: 4:30 pm - 12:30 am Sunday: 11:00 am - 9:30 am Full-time: Benefit Eligible


In this role, you will:

  • Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are successfully transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
  • Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle – rain or shine!
  • Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
  • Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
  • Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus points if you’ve got:

  • 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes.
  • This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
