Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a friendly and motivated Customer Service Representative in Watertown, New York. In this role, you will assist customers with their needs, manage rentals, and maintain equipment using the latest technology. You will have the opportunity to receive certifications in filling propane and operating a forklift.

This part-time position offers on-the-job education, health benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Candidates must maintain a valid driver's license and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone‑based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane, with certification offered upon employment.
• Drive a forklift, with certification offered upon employment.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education.
