Job summary

U-Haul in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers with rentals, inspect and prepare equipment, operate our mobile tech to manage inventory, and help ensure smooth journeys for customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred or required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and prepare equipment for rental.
• Explain products and services to customers and answer questions.
• Process rental invoices and returns; install hitches and wiring.
• Certifications offered upon employment (propane, forklift) to be completed.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
