Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Amarillo, TX. You will be the face of our service, helping customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and answering questions to ensure a smooth journey for each guest.

You’ll use U-Scan technology, assist with trailers and trucks, and participate in ongoing training at U-Haul University. This is an on-site, fast-paced role with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused demeanor and strong communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Willingness to learn and use new tech like U-Scan.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
