Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers, dispatch and return equipment using U-Scan technology, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers. The role includes inspecting equipment and educating customers on products and services.

Typical duties also involve preparing invoices, processing returns, and earning bonuses through our hiring and performance programs. Training through U-Haul University is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot, including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
