Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Abilene, Texas to be the friendly face helping customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and safe operation. You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center and use U-Scan technology to manage rentals.

The role includes moving and hooking up trucks and trailers, inspecting equipment, answering questions, and processing invoices. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
