Job summary

Chicago Athletic Clubs is seeking a part-time team member to greet members, assist with joining, and ensure a warm, welcoming environment at the club. You will interact with guests on-site and over the phone, stay current with club programming, and coordinate with Membership, Personal Training, and Group Fitness departments.

In addition to a flexible schedule, you will support member accounts, enforce guidelines politely, and adapt to different personalities while providing exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college or college degree or two year degree preferred.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Establish a warm welcoming environment in person and on the phone as the first step in the joining process for new members.
• Strive to make each member's visit the best part of their day by greeting all members entering and exiting the club in addition to being attentive and helpful.
• Staying up to date on all club programming and guidelines.
• Being a liaison between members and departments such as Membership, Personal Training, and Group Fitness.
• Manage the flow of all members and guests entering the club.
• Proactive in enforcing club guidelines in a polite and approachable manner.
• Update member account information recorded in the appropriate software.
• Able to think on your feet and be flexible with different types of personalities or situations.

Education
