Job summary

Hansons in Troy, MI is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to assist customers after home improvement projects. The role is full-time with weekday hours, weekly pay, and benefits after 30 days. You will answer inquiries, schedule technicians, and keep customers informed as work progresses.

No prior home improvement experience is required—we provide training on products and processes. A minimum of 1 year in customer service or a call center, plus strong organization and basic computer skills,

Qualifications

What You'll Do

You'll help keep customers informed and service appointments moving.

A typical day may include:

• Answering and responding to customer service requests
• Monitoring service tickets and following up with customers
• Scheduling service technicians and appointments
• Coordinating technician schedules by geographic area
• Keeping customers updated on the status of their service
• Helping resolve customer questions and concerns
• Assisting customers who contact or visit the office
• Learning our windows, roofing, siding and gutter products so you can better assist customers

What You Need

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of professional work experience
• Customer service or call center experience
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience That Can Help You Succeed

Experience in any of these areas may be a plus:

• Service coordination
• Dispatch or technician scheduling
• Construction or installation services
• Home improvement experience is preferred, not required.

Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Standard hours are:

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Due to the cyclical nature of the position, some overtime, evening or weekend hours may occasionally be required to meet deadlines.
