PURPOSE
A Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating customer pickups, delivery schedules, and driver dispatches. This position ensures timely and accurate communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams to support a smooth logistics process and a positive customer experience.
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position serves as the central communication hub between customers, warehouse staff, and delivery drivers. The Customer Service Coordinator manages incoming customer pickup requests and supports real-time adjustments in a dynamic distribution environment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Coordinate and schedule customer pickups, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time readiness
- Communicate directly with customers regarding pickup instructions, order timing, and delivery status
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are ready for pickup or delivery
- Monitor and respond to delivery exceptions, driver calls, or customer inquiries
- Maintain clear and accurate records of customer interactions and logistics schedules
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service in all communications
- Support other warehouse and logistics tasks as needed during high-volume periods
- Assist with reporting, tracking metrics, and identifying process improvements
- Aids with inventory control operational issues
WORKING LOCATION AND CONDITIONS
- Based in a warehouse and office environment located in West Columbia, SC
- Standard working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with 1 hour for lunch
- Standard two 15-minute break periods per day
- May require earlier start or later end times depending on delivery schedules and order volume

- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and work the established schedule, including occasional schedule adjustments based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
2+ years in customer service, dispatch, or warehouse coordination
Customer service or supply chain experience within the electrical and/or power distribution industry
Work Skills
- Must be able to multitask, remain organized, and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Must be dependable and demonstrate excellent time management.
