About the opportunity

  • Support the operation of Dayforce U.S. production environments that are handling Tax and Trust processing to ensure the delivery of high-quality operational services.
  • Ensure the timely resolution of problems relating to or affecting Client/User processing as well as identify sources of data transmission issues throughout the enterprise.
  • Achieve operational efficiencies through streamlining processes and participating in all operational special projects.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with our technology and business units at all levels.
  • Respond to Customer Service inquiries regarding Payroll production and reports. This position reports to the Production Support Manager.

What you’ll get to do

  • Monitor the production servers remotely and provide production support for the applications and systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
  • Monitor the production time sensitive scheduled jobs through a scheduling application and ensure end to end process completion including data transmissions.
  • Escalate any issues/errors to Production Analysts that pertain to these jobs.
  • Receive/respond to Salesforce CRM cases/SDE incidents from internal partners accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and track all problem identification, status reporting, resolution and follow-up of Payroll Production, all financial & non-financial data transmissions at regular intervals throughout the day.
  • Document support processes, incident resolutions and system configurations for future reference.
  • Correlate critical alerts on monitoring dashboards with actual data transmission and batch processing incidents and system outages.
  • Promptly resolve all data transmission and payroll processing issues and clear exception logs in accordance with established service levels.
  • Track and update all incidents in the incident management system, ensuring that documentation is thorough, accurate and meets ticket quality standards.
  • Work on multiple platforms including Salesforce CRM cases, scheduling application, Outlook, and various dashboards.
  • Generate a sense of urgency to complete work on time and understand that failure to meet SLAs can lead to significant financial penalties and substantial negative brand impact.

  • Experience working with the following technologies: IBM Sterling Suite, SQL, Java, WindowsOS, DOS, Tidal, Microsoft Office, Outlook, EXCEL, CNET, APPWORX.
  • Strong communication, Customer Service and organizing skills as well as possessing the analytical ability to independently resolve routine problems.
