Job summary

KD Market, Krystyna’s Deli, Inc., in Palatine, IL, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to answer questions, process transactions, and assist with cashier responsibilities on an evening shift.

You will engage customers, handle returns, manage POS transactions, and support training new cashiers while ensuring accuracy and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Illinois BASSET Certification required.
• High level of accuracy, basic math skills, dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift heavy grocery items.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent customer service orientation.
• Empathy, patience, positive communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. Process orders, prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. As a customer service you also have to handle all the tasks of a cashier.
